5 Stars Strategy at any age
Great simplistic strategy game.. We have found there is a definite advantage to going first so we play loser goes first. This is not addressed in the rules but it has helped balance out play at our house.

A simple game to learn that proved to be quite the challenge to develop good strategies. This game is usually a big hit at game night. Games don’t last long, but easily become addicting. Also, good quality construction.

A lot more strategy then I would have thought. Very fun - potential for a quick or a slow game. Its like tic-tac-toe meets chess meets checkers. You can ‘gobble’ your opponents or even your own. A lot of fun! Have yet to play it with a child but I’m sure would be fine (not too complicated).

My son got this for Christmas. We only played this once but thought it was just OKAY. Nothing exciting. Maybe we’ll need to play it more to really appreciate this game. Qwirkle is a better game…we just got that for Christmas as well.

this game was at the house where we spent a lot of weekends. we all started playing (9yrs, 7, 5 and parents)and had mini tournaments. finally, i had to buy it for our house. we all love playing it. it changes every game and anyone can win! it makes the kids think before they move and try and remember what is under what. i love how all the pieces fit inside, so easy to keep together. we keep it on the coffee table and play whenever we are just sitting around. each game does not take long (less than 10 minutes), so no time to get bored and not too long of a wait for the next game!
