4 Stars Heroscape Castle
The heroscape castle expansion pack is one of the newer sets for Heroscape. In it you will find bases, walls, battlements, ladders, wall walks, and a doorway. Building the castle is one of the coolest parts or it. Although one castle is in the instruction book, you can spend hours building your own design. Once you get to play time however, you will find that the door is very hard to take out, and it is hard to take over the castle since there is no siege equipment.
But that’s not all. With the set you can make little towers for archers, and the ladders are incourperated nicely into the main game. Overall the castle is very enjoyable set and a worthy addition to herscape.

I’m new to Heroscape, and slowly catching up with all the great products and intuitive designs the guys at Hasbro continue to churn out. This expansion is a great addition to the game, opening the doors to more original game play, capture the flag scenarios, and giving you the ability to just create any kind of castle-like campaign you can imagine.
Good instructions, with clear rules that do not over complicate things, and an incredibly durable product. I would suggest buying two, not one. Though one set comes with a scenario and a good amount of pieces to build a nice castle, you’ll be begging for more walls and towers very soon, I already am! You can’t go wrong with this, even as a gift, Heroscapers as I’ve discovered (and am now experiencing) always want more then one expansion, the more you have the more you can build. Their almost like legos, the more, the merrier! Pick this up, you cannot go wrong!
5 Stars Castle is a very good addition to the Master Set
The castle is an excellent addition to any Heroscape Master Set. If you get this though, I would recommend you have at least two Master Sets as it’s harder to play with it if there’s not very much land outside of it.
5 Stars Great modular expansion
This has the excellent versatility of the master set. You can build the castle shown, or just build several smaller walls, or use the wall tops to make roads. One caveat is that it can be difficult to assemble and more so to take apart. If you plan to buy it for someone on the lower end of the age range, be prepared to help get the pieces to snap in place.
I also need to point out that the door is just cool.
4 Stars My Grandson Loved this Present
I purchased this item as a gift for my grandson. He loved it…..it really completes his Heroscape collection and I know I will be adding to it in the future. Great product!!!
